Special tools: valve spring compressor and adaptor in spark plug hole for compressed air to keep valves closed and prevent them from dropping in cylinder

An all time great bike
43 hp from 125 cc, not bad in 1982! One of the last 125 twins before the rulebook ruled them out! Top speed was 220 km/h

This picture shows me attempting to kick start my good friend Mark's 1948 chief. The bike had been restored by a gentleman that used to race for Indian in the 40's -50's. This was the last Indian that he restored. Unfortunately i don't remember the ex-racer's name.
